My Vacation Haven, LLC Rental Policy

click here to make reservations online. Upon making a reservation you will receive via email your:

• Itinerary
• Rental Agreement (must be signed and returned within 5 days)
• 30 days before your arrival you will receive your arrival information

Payment
Payment - 1/3 of the total amount is due immediately to hold your reservation and full payment (the remaining balance) is required 60 days prior to arrival. If you are booking your reservation within 60 days of the arrival date, then full payment is due at the time of booking.

FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS - Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment and / or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.

Cancellation
If your arrival date is more than 15 days from your reservation origination date you may cancel up to 5 days after the origination date of your reservation with no charge. After 5 days of the reservation origination My Vacation Haven, LLC will not issue a refund without AIG Travel Guard Insurance. In the event of cancellation, refunds must be obtained from AIG Travel Guard and are subject to their policies and conditions. If you need to cancel your reservation, please let us know immediately and if you purchased the travel insurance contact AIG Travel Guard to start your claim.

If your origination date is within 15 days of your arrival date the 5 day cancellation at no charge does NOT APPLY and no refunds will be issued. AIG Travel Guard Insurance must be purchased at the time the reservation is made to obtain a refund.

In the event of a mandatory evacuation a refund will not be given if the guest does not purchase AIG Travel Guard Vacation Insurance.

Check-in Time
Check in time is after 3PM Central Time. At that time the electronic door lock will activate.

Check-out Time
Check out time is 10AM Central Time. No late check out. You must depart at the appropriate time. The electronic door lock will deactivate at that time.

Occupancy / Age
Maximum occupancy - The maximum number of guests is determined by the number of persons the rental unit sleeps. Additional persons must be approved by My Vacation Haven, LLC and additional charges may apply.

We will not rent to anyone under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent who will be staying overnight, all nights, in the unit with the persons under 25 years of age

No underage drinking or partying is allowed in the unit. If My Vacation Haven, LLC is made aware of these activities, we will be forced to remove the guest from the premises. All rental monies will be forfeited.

The renter is not removed by the owner or My Vacation Haven, LLC, but by the local law enforcement, or the security company employed by the property or building personnel.

Substitution
My Vacation Haven, LLC units are privately owned properties and subject to reasonable wishes of the owner. When you confirm your reservation we reserve the right to change unit assignment. We will do our best to fulfill your request, but is not guaranteed.

Neighborhood/HOA Rules
Most rental units are located in neighborhoods controlled by a homeowner or condo association. The associations have rules and regulations in place to keep all owners and guests safe, and these rules must be followed at all times. If you have questions, please contact My Vacation Haven, LLC to ensure compliance. If rules are not followed then the guest will be responsible for actions and/or fines enforced.

Prohibited Vehicles
At both Sandestin® and Tops'l Resorts the following vehicles are not allowed on property: RVs, motorcycles, trailers of any kind. No golf carts are allowed at Tops'l Resort, and as of September 15, 2009, no golf carts are allowed for anyone other than Sandestin® property owners at Sandestin® Resort.

Special Events
Weddings and special events must be approved by the homeowner's association. A reservation does not obligate the association to approve an event. Please contact My Vacation Haven, LLC if you need assistance with a special event.

Damages / Repairs / Departures
All units are inventoried and inspected before and after each occupancy.

We try to make sure everything is in good repair prior to your arrival, but in the event there is any damage or maintenance issues, report immediately to avoid additional charges.

Appliances, electronics, AC/heating, elevators, etc... are not guaranteed. We do have a 24/7 helpline and repairs will be made as soon as possible as needed. No refund or discount will be issued for failure.

To avoid additional charges upon departure:

•  All garbage and debris must be removed from condo and properly disposed.
• All soiled dishes are to be placed in dishwasher and the dishwasher must be started.
• Close and lock all outside doors.
•  If you leave items in the unit and wish to have them returned you will be responsible for the charges set forth by UPS. My Vacation Haven, LLC is not responsible for personal items not found.
• Please leave unit as you found it, excessive departure cleaning can be an additional charge.
• If you are staying in Westwinds, Beachside II, or Luau, then you will have the exact number of pool bracelets in the condo as can sleep in the condo. So, please leave that same number of bracelets in teh condo when you leave or you will be charged $10.00 per missing bracelet.

My Vacation Haven, LLC reserves the right to charge the credit card that was used to process this reservation, if there is any damage done to the unit or its contents or any items missing.

The My Vacation Haven, LLC agent, may enter the unit to make repairs.

My Vacation Haven, LLC is the agent of the property owner and is acting at all times, in and for the best interest of My Vacation Haven, LLC. My Vacation Haven, LLC will not be held responsible for acts of theft, vandalism, or damages to guest's personal property.

Smoking, Pets, Grilling
All condos are NON SMOKING UNITS. Violators will be charged $750.00.

Pets are NOT PERMITTED in rental units under any conditions unless unit is designated as pet friendly.

No gas or charcoal grilling allowed in property or on balconies unless property is designated for grilling.

Initial Supplies
Your reservation includes a one-time linen and towel set-up, an initial set up of trash liners, bathroom paper, paper towels, hand soap and dishwasher detergent.

We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the unit. My Vacation Haven, LLC reserves the right to charge for lost or damaged linens.

BEACH TOWELS - Bring your own beach towels, we do not permit towels to be taken out of the unit. Do not take unit linens to the beach or pool. All condo linens must remain in the condo.

Parking Pass
Parking Passes - You will be given a parking pass at the Security Gate upon initial arrival to the property. The parking pass will be valid for your entire stay and must be displayed on the dash of your vehicle.

Important
If your accommodations are at the Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort your reservation DOES NOT include the Sandestin® Amenity Card.

Written Exceptions
Any exceptions to the above-mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
