"Mutual Fun” is a charming single story cottage home in the Fairways community of the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort. It is the perfect hideaway for a quiet retreat, while being mere minutes away from the many Sandestin amenities. Upon entering, you will feel at home in this bright and airy cottage with an open floor plan and lots of natural light. Mutual Fun’s spacious, fully equipped kitchen offers stainless steel appliances and abundant counter space. The living room of this open concept beach cottage spills into the sunroom, a beautiful space to spread out and enjoy all year. Seating is found at the dining table for 4 or the counter bar that seats 2 people.

The sleeping arrangements offer ample space and can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests. To unwind after your eventful day, the master bedroom has a king bed with en suite bath that features a private bath and stand-alone shower. The other guest room has a king bed and shares access to the full hall bathroom. There's also a queen sleeper sofa in the living area, which features a 55” Smart TV. The adjacent sunroom has a full sleeper sofa, that will comfortably sleep 1 adult or 2 children, and has doors that can be closed for privacy.

Outdoors, you’ll love relaxing on the deck beneath the shade of longleaf pines. The deck boasts a dining table, a lounger, and a gas grill perfect for cookouts overlooking the lake with views of the golf course and the bay just off in the distance! After lounging around the house, take the included 6-seater golf cart to one of two heated resort swimming pools, the nearby beaches or to Baytowne Wharf.

We enjoyed staying here for a week with our teenage daughters. We had some fun on the golf course, the Warf and the beach. Your home had everything we needed from fresh linens, towels, kitchen and beach items. The description stated the home came with two beach chairs and and umbrella. When we arrived there was double of these items which made our days at the beach comfortable. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We will definitely be back next year!

We had a really nice week in this house! It has nice decor, great location, a really nice golf cart, a well-supplied kitchen , comfortable beds, lovely landscaping, and everything you could want. The saltwater heated pool provided s great place to exercise and one our group was able to play 3 different golf courses in 3 days. I was able to get away from a gloomy January in Ohio and all three of wished we could have stayed longer!

what a perfect home to vacation at! We stay at the wharf every year and this has been one of our favorite homes. We absolutely love feeding the ducks in the morning off our patio. I love that it was quiet, but had access on the golf cart to go wherever you wanted to. I love the updated style and this home is equipped with everything you need to cook a good meal. Super clean and feels like home. Our kids loved playing in the sunroom. Highly recommend this home and will stay at it again thank you.

I can't say enough positive things about this rental and our experience with My Vacation Haven! The cottage was clean and supplied with everything you need! The beach equipment and golf cart was especially handy and appreciated! Our golf cart broke down late one evening. I contacted My Vacation Haven and they sent someone and had it repaired by lunch time the next day! We were so thankful! This resort provides a little bit of everything. Entertainment, food, and stores all accessible with the golf cart. The only negative thing I could say is the beach is crowded but for me it's totally worth it with all this place has to offer! I would stay here again or another property with My Vacation Haven!

The place was so nice!
The master bed was very comfortable and I liked that the pull out couches were supplied with packaged sheets vs just finding extras in a closet
The washer and dryer were big and worked great!
The kitchen had plenty of dishes and the fridge/ice machine were really nice.
The beach items that were supplied really made the beach trips enjoyable: umbrella with stand, nice chairs, sand toys, boogie boards!
Our favorite was the golf cart, held charge all day and provided endless entertainment.
The 2 pools we visited were super clean and fun, lounge chairs were comfortable. You were allowed pool toys/balls/ etc
The toaster and beach umbrella were broken and Vacation Haven was super responsive and replaced both the same day!

I would recommend bringing a sound machine...the frogs (?!) get very very loud at night
Just a heads up for people not familiar with Destin area....you cannot take the golf cart out of the Sandestin Golf resort so just keep that in mind if you plan to just use a golf cart vs car rental. There is still a lot to explore within the area but I assumed that we would be able to explore more of Destin.

A favorite spot

This was our second time staying at the house and we have loved it both times! The house is very nice and so clean… everything you need is available and then some. When the beaches and surrounding area get too crowded, the back yard and neighborhood is a quiet and welcomed retreat. Sitting on the deck in the late afternoon and early morning is so peaceful! You can literally get to everything you need by golf cart and that may be our kids favorite perk. You can fish right in your back yard and see the sunset in the water with a quick ride in the golf cart. I can’t emphasize enough how perfect the location is for a stress free vacation with or without young kids. We can’t wait to return!

Upon arrival everything was perfect! So many personalized details that make the stay so comfortable! A desk for work, with a cozy sitting room to read, a deck perfect for coffee and Yoga! Beds are super comfortable and everything was simply immaculate! Home is cozy and perfectly situated between the Bay and the Beach with a reliable golf cart to go everywhere you would need to without need for a rental vehicle. Booked at last minute and the owner was quick to accommodate and prepare for arrival! Really enjoyed our mommy/daughter get away and will definitely be back! Thank you!

Amazing Beach Getaway!

I recently rented (for the second time) the "Mutual Fun" cottage in Sandestin Golf & Beach Resorts. I scheduled through My Vacation Haven. I took my daughter and 8 year old granddaughter for a week's sun and fun! We did have both as there is so much to do and see in the area. We love the house, it's so tastefully decorated and very well maintained. We felt like we were in our own private playground. You'll have everything a single person to a large family could need. With so many activities and restaurants available to choose from you'll have to visit a second time to take it all in. We took the Caribbean Pirate Cruise this visit, it was a lot of fun. The beach for Sandestin guests is just a 5 minute golf cart ride away and the rental has all kinds of chairs and rafts, etc. available for guests. There are lots of golf courses, bike and walking trails and swimming pools if you get tired of the ocean. We highly recommend renting "Mutual Fun" for your next get-away.
