Just steps away from the beach is your Destin vacation destination, the Luau condominium. At the ground level, this property is home to plush landscaping which leads to the lagoon-style pool, kiddie pool, hot tub, swim under waterfall, a Tiki and snack bar (open seasonally), and community grilling area. The pool deck area offers views of the Gulf of Mexico and its famous sugar white sand beaches. At the Luau condominium towers, you’ll enjoy additional amenities like gated and partially covered parking, high speed WiFi, a large fitness center overlooking the pool, community laundry facilities, and a spacious lobby area. The accommodations have studio, one, two, and three bedroom units with fully equipped kitchens (with the exception of studios) and open floor plans.     If you are looking for a quaint, very clean, comfortable, nicely decorated room for two, I would not hesitate to stay in 6233! We enjoyed our visit and loved the nice relaxing pool and the fact that you could walk or ride the tram around the resort and to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

    Love how comfy the bed was! There was lots of towels and wash cloths. Which was very helpful! Love all the little boxes of gifts!

    What a great rental. Has everything we needed. Great community! The only suggestions I had were that I only saw the tram twice the entire week. Parking after 10:00 was nearly impossible as there were zero spots available. Finding a luggage cart when we were checking out was a futile effort. Had to make multiple trips due to not having a cart. Would imagine people hid them in their rooms the night before which should be discouraged. Otherwise a great rental.

    Great location! Clean, well decorated and perfect for a couple. Only couple of suggestions, there is no true place to hang your wet swimsuits or towels to dry overnight. A little welcome binder with Resort maps, names of apps to best get info and/or maybe an insert that has events to be aware of either by month or quarter or by week would be wonderful as we had to go to several different apps just to find things to do. We weren’t sure to look at Luau II, or Sandestin Resort or Hospitality App for events. I.e. on Friday night we saw some fireworks coming from the bayside and when we were driving back to our condo there was a beautiful display of fireworks put on near the Beach House but we were driving and unable to stop and really watch. It wasn’t until I went to the Beach House app the next day that I saw they were having fireworks the night before. Great relaxing trip for our 30th anniversary.

    Great size studio. Perfect for a couple and maybe a small child. Clean, crisp white linens, super comfortable bed. Quiet building elevator is down the hall so no noise from that either. Ice machine. W/d downstairs by the vending machine. We always managed covered parking. Beautiful property

    This unit is well decorated and kept really nice. Literally as described to a T! Clean and crisp feeling. Great air conditioning after a day at the beach. Nice and quiet in the evenings too. Definitely would choose this unit again.

    We were welcomed with a huge cockroach in the room. I have never seen one at any resort or hotel in the 40 years I've stayed at resorts and hotels in Florida. The room is misrepresented with the pics, which make it look huge, but it's not; it's like a regular hotel room. They don't do room service or housekeeping, but yet you have to throw all the trash away and pay a cleaning fee. The shower only opens from the back so in order to turn it on you have to go in and get soaked as the shower head immediately starts. The beach is about a 7 min. walk away. The Keurig did not work. They did try to replace it with a regular coffee maker, but did not provide filters and I had bought kpods. I wish we would have stayed at a regular hotel. The staff through My Vacation Haven tries to be helpful and are very nice. There's a laundromat that you have to use quarters so you get a supply of towels for the week so if they were dirty you had to go wash them yourself. Coming in from the beach the room does get Sandy and you have to sweep yourself with the fluorine has indentations so it is difficult to get the sand out of the grooves. Overall, the area is very nice, and although cold during our stay we still enjoyed it. However, I would never pick this room again. It is really only for two people. It has a king size bed. Pull out couch is a twin which is even smaller than the twin and the mattress is very feeble and thin. I suppose a small child could sleep there, but no adult would ever want to. Another thing to mention is that the restaurants in the area are very expensive. We were three people, and it was difficult not to spend at least $100 on a meal.

    We have stayed at the Luau 3 different times now and have always enjoyed our stays. Rooms are always clean when we arrive. Close walk to the beach and also a beautiful pool on the property. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Great place to take a relaxing vacation.

    Location was perfect. Beach/ocean view from the room. Very short walking distance to the beach and we enjoyed the beach house restaurant frequently. My vacation haven was very prompt with any questions or concerns that arose during our stay.
