Elegance by the Gulf beckons at "Our Destiny", a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, two story Mediterranean dwelling located in the Destiny West community. Opulent furnishings make this home a true luxury vacation for families or small groups.

A short, six-minute walk from the beach, Our Destiny sleeps a maximum of 8 guests. The home is also dog friendly for up to two dogs. Your four-legged children will love running around the fenced, elegantly landscaped backyard and you’ll delight in looking on from the stone patios.

Inside, the home is equally well appointed. The first floor kitchen has a true “wow-factor”. With a six-burner stove, three ovens, a sub-zero fridge, warming lamps, instant hot water, and Keurig, you’ll feel like you’re hosting a posh food show every time you decide to whip something up. Spacious granite countertops and the four seater counter bar provide plenty of space for you to put out a spread while entertaining.

Exposed brick throughout the downstairs ties the space together and emphasizes the European coastal theme of the home and the community. You’ll find an elegant seating area, brick fireplace, and flat-screen TV in the living room just off the kitchen, perfect for quality time.

The first of the home’s two master bedrooms is on the first floor. Relax in the king bed or indulge a blissful soak in the en suite bath's jetted spa tub. There’s also a spacious walk-in shower and access to the lush backyard.

Upstairs, there are three additional bedrooms. Two guest rooms have queen beds and share the Jack and Jill bathroom. The third bedroom is another master with a king bed and an en suite bathroom.

In the Destiny West community, you’ll enjoy the private community pool, tennis courts, gym, and lounge. Destiny West is located in the heart of Destin and you’ll love having ready access to the best of everything on the Emerald Coast!

Overall this was great stay. We had some issues when checking in. We did not receive an email with the gate code or front door code until we asked for it late into the evening. The host was extremely easy to work with and answered all of our questions promptly. The tvs were confusing to work. I wish that all the TVs had fire sticks or Rokus, because it was confusing. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay. We rented a golf cart and that was perfect. The location was great. The beds were very comfortable. The dogs loved the backyard. We will definitely stay again! Thank you so much.

The house was very nice. When I arrived I had a problem getting the correct codes to access the property as well as the entrance gate. The staff worked diligently to get them to me and after that everything was smooth sailing. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Our stay was 10 out of 10 and we will return to this house. The house is beautiful, the picture do not give the full experience. I love how close and easy the beach access, you’re literally across the street. The community felt very safe and really quite. I loved the pool convenience, there was plenty of chairs and tables for everyone. The people were also very friendly around the subdivision. Your just a short drive away from restaurants, and other stores. Everything you need is within a 10-15min drive.

Traveling with Kids: the house is spacious, and has literally everything you would need for a beach day. Ton of beach toys, surf boards, chairs, and wagon to transport. it just doesn’t have a cooler. The wagon is very big can fit almost anything if packed correctly.

Feedback for house: I recommend having extra towels, trash bags, and tissue. These are basic necessities in my opinion and we were only given limited supplies. We had 1 towel for each person and two rolls of tissue, 1 extra trash bag for the kitchen and restroom, We ran out by day 2 ( Family of 10)

Also, The app didn’t have the correct gate code when we arrived so we had to wait for the security to let us in. That was annoying b/c we arrived late

Overall a great experience with My Vacation Haven and Our Destiny. This was our first stay in Destin and we could not have been happier. The rental space was great - not the newest, but more than met our needs. The backyard was just perfect for our dog. The walk out of the gated community and along old 98 was just what we needed to start our days. The kitchen was just great. If there is one thing I would change it would be to replace the counter height stools with bar height stools. That would make the breakfast bar usable. So how much did we enjoy our stay? We already rebooked for next winter! Thanks for sharing this beautiful home with me, my husband, our dog, and our good friends.

Great house to stay in for large family house was very clean Had an issue with one of dryers maintenance came immediately and got it taken care of. Rental company was very friendly and helpful. Only thing that was an issue to my family and may not be to others is tv channels in bedrooms weren’t very good. Living room tv had better channels and Wi-Fi did not reach upstairs very well. Overall all the house was very good great location!

We had a great stay. The house was clean and comfortable and the owner was easy to work with. We brought our dog and he enjoyed the fenced backyard. We enjoyed walking him around the neighborhood. The beach was a five minute walk, as was the Crab Trap, which we walked to several times for dinner and to watch the sunset. Would stay again!

We rented this house for fall break for family and our two dogs. The house was perfect for our needs and in particular, we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. The pictures of the kitchen were one of the reasons we picked the house and we were not disappointed. The fenced in back yard was great for our dogs and we sat out back having coffee every morning. The gated community was nice and quiet and the pool and other community amenities were nice and well maintained. We will definitely stay here again.

We arrived Sunday Aug. 21, 2022 and stayed at My Destiny a week. The house was furnished and decorated nicely. Beds were so comfy with lots of pillows. Kitchen was stocked very well with an amazing stove. Pool was clean, good sized with never a crowd issue. Tennis and Pickleball courts with gym by pool. Beach was perfect, wide open stretch with large condos. We has an amazing stay. We will be back soon! The management company was nice and very AccommodatingEverything was excellent!
