Mere steps from the beach in the gorgeous community of Crystal Beach is the perfect combination of old Florida and modern luxuries. Pier Destin-Y, a 5 bedroom, 4 bath new construction home with a 2 bedroom, 1 bath vintage “front house”, comes with a private pool and large yard area perfect for pets. Renting as a pair, you can easily fit the entire family in this combination that sleeps 18.

The main home has an open concept floor plan with a large kitchen, living, and dining area on the first floor. The kitchen area has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a breakfast bar along with an extendable dining table, complete with benches.

The first floor hosts 2 bedrooms, both equipped with flat-screen TVs and king beds. The custom bamboo and “seahorse” headboards are a tasteful touch. The first floor master bath has a zero entrance shower with split showerhead handle, perfect for washing off the little ones right off the pool. The second downstairs bath hosts a corresponding spa-like walk-in shower with a relaxing rainhead showerhead.

Upstairs a second living room with a sectional sofa, flat-screen TV and wet bar area is the ideal spot for a relaxing movie night.

The third upstairs bedroom hosts a king bed, flat-screen TV with a tastefully bright en suite bathroom.

The fourth bedroom is decorated in coastal neutrals that dress up the king bed and large flat-screen TV nicely. This bedroom shares a shower/tub combination bathroom with a beautiful double trough marble sink and custom T-shaped vanity with tile accents.

The fifth bedroom hosts a king bed and loft style, stair access bunk set, a full bed on bottom and twin on top. The custom designed octopus headboard is truly unique and a favorite with kids.

From the upstairs balcony with multiple access points, you can check out the private pool and patio below.

On the front vintage house, you have a direct view of the gulf from the balcony. The open concept kitchen/living/dining area maximizes the space available, with a dining table that seats 6 and a new sectional sofa and chair.

The first bright, cheery bedroom hosts a twin bed as well as a full bed with a bunk-style twin bed and flat-screen TV. The second bedroom has yet another king bed and flat-screen TV.

    This is a nice home. It could use a little maintenance there were a few things broken. We requested early check in our initial booking however after arriving early we were given the excuse that maintenance hadn't been by to inspect the home before check - well maintenance NEVER came by to inspect the home period so that was extremely frustrating! Overall, it was good just off to a very rocky start.

    We came to Destin for a wedding with little knowledge of the area. I found the guest easy to work with and very communicative. Initially, our party was 6 couples so we chose this property due to space, but learned upon arrival that it was close to everything we needed. The house was well stocked with appliances, cookware, dinnerware, and beach accessories. If I am ever back in Destin, I would choose this property again.

    I guess a testament to the property, is that we keep coming back. We used the outdoor lounge, pool, grill area more than in the past. It was perfect to float around in the times you had already been to the beach, and in the evenings. Several updates happened while we were there or right after we left. Changing color mood light was added to the pool that made a great atmosphere for the evening conversation/party around the pool area. New mattresses were being installed as we left as the owners constantly appear to replace and upgrade throughout the years. Bring your phone/camera for the short walk to the beach to get that sunset each evening. Gorgeous!

    Great location close to the beach. Nice pool and outside gathering space. The vintage house is also a big plus for large groups if someone in your party needs to work. Beds are comfortable .

    Our family had a great time at the house and guest house in Destin(Miramar Beach). Everything was nice and clean. When we had issues with a couple of the appliances, they were addressed promptly!! In particular, Maridell McCarty was so nice and took care of getting us new toasters. She was a gem! Our four teenage grandchildren occupied the guest house which was perfect for them, giving them their own space! We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

    4 Family Getaway

    The combination of the 2 homes made it comfortable for our 4 families totaling 15. My Vacation Haven provided excellent service and checked in on us during our stay. We had a couple of issues that were resolved quickly by them. First was the gas BBQ pit that was on site was not usable at all the burners were falling apart. They resolved that with a new pit the next day so we were able to cook out as planned. The other issue was a big deal the a/c on the large home stopped cooling but between My Vacation Haven and a local a/c company we had the unit cooling in only hours on a weekend. Great work and service. Everything that could be done by a good property management company was spot on.The cons are not related to the property management but the property itself. The beds are some of the cheapest throw away mattresses we have experienced in a rental. Only thing was they were on the worn out soft side so I could somewhat sleep through the night. The fans in the bedrooms were all different and whomever did the installation on many of them did not do it properly so many would make noise if turned up to medium or high speed. For this being a large guest count rental we had minimal pots pans to provide meals for the group an added challenge we have not dealt with previously in other large rentals. Some items that could use repairs; the downstairs bedroom behind the kitchen could use a fan that moves more air, high speed is slow. The bath with the rainfall shower could use a de-scaling cause it shoots 4 different directions along with the shower handle has seen better days and the glass door is missing the vertical seal so water is splashed out of the shower. The bedroom upstairs with the en suite bath the fan needs attention it is off balance, noisy, and the light does not work. Overall the close proximity to the beach, the amount of rooms, and the price made for a nice stay for our group. We would rent again if the mattresses were replaced without question.

    Great location for walking to beach. The house was very clean and inviting. Great size for our family of 12. Privacy for the kids and spacious for all to enjoy. We will definitely rent this place again.

    Beautiful property,clean,lots of towels, well maintained, close to the beach. Everything was fantastic. We have rented this house out for the last 2 years, 15 family members have fit in it. Kids and adults alike have had a wonderful time here.

    Huge bonus here is that there are actually two houses on the lot. Been there many times and stayed in both the “Vintage House” (a little more private) and the modern main house where everything is thoughtfully put together. It’s obvious that the owners are proud of their property and continue to not settle for the original vision they had as they keep both places up to date and stylish. Just step across “Old 98” and you're walking on the white powder sand and viewing the clear water beach that Destin is known for. Perfect place for a large group of family and friends.

    It was a great house for our family for the holiday. We only had a couple of hiccups - we had two smoke alarms with dead batteries. We had to purchase batteries and replace them in a bedroom upstairs and one downstairs.

    This was our second visit to the house and won’t be our last . The perfect location one lot off the main drag , guest house is perfect for in-laws , the pool , the parking , the whole house in general is perfect .

    We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation experience at Pier DestinY. We had our adult children and the grandchildren. What a joy watching all the smiling faces! Short walk to the beach, the pool was super fun! The kitchen had all the items one needs, the bedrooms were spacious, and the bathrooms were great. The pool was maintained during our stay so it was clean and clear. The BBQ was maintained and in ready to use condition, I was very happy to see that! This was a perfect location, with shops nearby and great scenic walking fun.

    Steps from the beautiful beach. The house accommodated my party of 15 adults sleeping there with no issues. I loved having 2 kitchens, we cooked or grilled most meals, which was nice. Although the pool isn't heated, we enjoyed spending time in it our outside surrounding it, esp at night with the changing lights. The pool lady came out twice during our stay, someone stopped by the 1st or 2nd day and cleaned the grill before we used it, also someone came over to pull the trash, he said it was contracted. All of the mentioned staff were pleasant, you wouldn't know they were there. Small things, can opener didn't work, we couldn't locate the iron , and 1 of the toilet chains kept coming off. We reapplied the hook and didn't mention until after check out,we were too bust enjoying ourselves to complain, and it was minor. Again, this is a nice beach house in a great location. I've already had diffent people ask me for rental information.. thanks for hosting us and making my 50th amazing.

    This is such a great place to stay. The house is beautiful. The pool is great. It is close to the ocean. My kids and grandkids did not want to leave. There is plenty of entertainment close to the house.

    With some many options to stay in the Destin area we were so pleased to find this one (Pier DestinY). Absolutely a perfect location with just a short walk to a beautiful beach. Many great restaurants and bars nearby plus a great coffee house all within an easy walk. The homes were both well taken care of, extremely clean, and beautifully appointed. Great pool, patio areas, and a grill to cook out. For those of you who are working while on vacation, the wifi was robust and easily took care of all of our work needs.     We were a group of moms and daughters, 10 in total. The two house property was perfect for us because we had so much space to spread out. The pool was small but perfect for us. There were enough pool chairs to go around for all. Plenty of room in the kitchen for all
    Loved the upper balcony for morning coffee. It was a very short walk to the beach. Beach access at Pompano st
    directly across the beach blvd. We rented a golf cart for the week and that was so much fun. It really helped all of us get around more easily. I was worried about noise from the condos or houses next door but everything was great.

    It was a wonderful and delightful experience. This was our second visit. We love being close to the beach. Their was one situation that needs your attention. The grill was unusable;however, we bought one and left it their for others to use. My family enjoyed their stay, great accommodations inside home.

    My family group of 16 (11adults and 5kids) enjoyed our stay from beginning to end. We were unable to do early check-in and enjoyed the beach til then. The place was clean. The downstairs rooms did not have bathrooms inside the room so those couples were bummed about privacy but made it work. The pool was small but perfect for the kids after a long day at beach. Overall great stay!

    The home is exactly what was described. It was more than enough room for our 16 person group. Even though we wish we could have been in 1 house the 2 house combo still worked out just fine for everyone. We also loved the fact that we were so close to the beach, just a short walk, across the street, and there we were ready to enjoy a beach day.     We rented this house to celebrate a birthday with the whole family (21 of us in all) and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The location was perfect and the street we needed to cross to get to the beach was not ever extremely busy. I would say that the guest house probably shouldn’t be inhabited by light sleepers due to the house shaking when others walk up the stairs - definitely more dated than the actual house. Regardless, I would recommend to others and I hope to stay again!

    We had a great vacation. House is beautiful and can accommodate several families comfortably. We had two families (8 people) and each teenager had their own bed as well as the two couples had spacious accommodations. Note- the two main level bathrooms are not connected to bedrooms. House is clean and new, beds are VERY comfortable, and well stocked with dishes as well. Couple things needed to be repaired or replaced - Grill was difficult to get started and is older-- we had to buy a lighter (we left it there). Several utensils were broken that need to be replaced - pizza cutter and wine opener. Wish they provided beach towels - would be a nice perk instead of having to take up prime suitcase space. Great beach and pool stuff - boogie boards, chairs, etc.... Was very disappointed the pool isn't heated - we couldn't use it at all this week. Kids jumped in once - it is salt water which is nice. Vintage front house is older but well kept - the teenagers would use that as their "hangout." Another request, not enough garbage bags, toilet paper or paper towels - so plan on buying some when you get there. For 8 people we went through a lot! Overall, wonderful house and location. In the spring, be prepared for spring break college kids! Houses around us did not have same restrictions as this one!

    A lovely home, suited our family make up well. Loved that there is the mother-in-law home, so there was escape for us seniors. However the internet in both residences was weak and dropped often. Even after having the technician there to "fix". Also some mattresses were very soft/sagging. If these issues were fixed I would return. Excellent location. Easy access to beach.

    This place is absolutely perfect especially for a large group there are two houses on the property the front house is a two bedroom one bath house witha large porch upstairs then there is a pool leading to the main house which has 5 bedrooms one of the rooms has a bathroom inside otherwise there are two baths on each floor which is convenient for others in the house large kitchen area. I really enjoyed my stay here and did i mention its one block from beach very nice location

    Really enjoyed the comforts of this vacation house, a home away from home, very spacious and detailed. Located close by the beach a plus. The house decor was awesome, clean and very neat. The size of the home was above my expectations. The outdoor pool was a plus for my family, not to mention the amenities and accessibility of beach and pool items were excellent. Notably, the guess house provided great additional living space. Overall, the house was excellent and I would stay there again and would recommend it to others. Lastly, the house was located centrally to restaurants, stores, etc.

    Our stay in this property was fantastic. The house is new, clean and had everything we needed. The beds are wonderful! The pool was great for non-beach days. And the location was perfect, very close to the beach, restaurants and shops! Hope to stay again next year!
