Nothing pairs better with the emerald green waters of the Gulf like the touch of green you will find all throughout Villa Lago 1952. Situated in a neighborhood inside a resort area is this magnificent gem of interior design and luxury.

You are immediately greeted by luxurious design as soon as you walk into the front door, where you can peer into the living room and see what’s in store. Once you have fully entered the living room, you will find the spacious open concept floor plan that blends the living room with the modern and updated kitchen. The updated furniture in the living is situated around a big, flat screen television, with the splashes of green readily visible in the coastal hue colored room.

The kitchen features dark wooden cabinets with granite countertops, offering enough space to host a tremendous meal. The stainless steel appliances also offer an updated and modern look, and with the open floor plan, the cook can easily watch television with the rest of the group while preparing a feast.

The upstairs living room also has its own flat screen television, with comfortable furniture and its own blend of coastal hues and splash of green. Each bedroom has a splash of green and has a respective bathroom to match the same style as the bedroom. Each bedroom also has its very own flat screen for entertainment purposes.

There is a laundry room equipped with a washer and dryer for being able to do laundry in the comfort of the home. Step out onto the back porch to see a nice view of the lake and the fountain, and notice the grill for nights; you will want to cookout!

    We were scheduled to stay somewhere else but, there was a leak so we were directed to this gem. Location was amazing, the property was clean and had everything we needed from cooking in to a day at the beach. We golfed, shopped and the guys went fishing. We would definitely stay there again.

    The house was beautiful and very comfortable. I wish it would have been closer to the beach but still in a great neighborhood. The pictures do not do the house justice as it is much larger than it appears. The golf cart made the trip so much easier to get around and was also enjoyable. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

    The property was spotless and the pictures did not do it justice. The location was perfect and the only (minor) complaint is that the golf cart was a bit "off". It kind of jumped while driving. The kitchen was a dream and had every appliance, gadget for cooking a nice meal. I would definitely stay there again.

    My family and I had a wonderful time in the villa. There was plenty of room for 3 adults and 3 children. The villa was spotless which was particularly important during the pandemic. There were only two negatives: the living room furniture needs updating and the kitchen was not stocked. Typically VRBOs have seasonings, etc. Perhaps this has changed because of the pandemic. Nevertheless, it was the perfect vacation getaway.

    The house was very clean and spacious wonderful bedrooms and bathrooms. The golf cart was a huge plus and made the visit wonderful. The beaches were closed while we were there, but it was a pretty long ride to the beach. I wish that the kitchen had chopping/cooking knives!

    Time we pulled into the driveway we were amazed with the beautiful landscape. After entering the house everything was so clean and beautifully decorated. Each bedroom had it's own design and matching decor.(only one little downfall...one of the beds upstairs need a new mattress because it squeaks with every move) The kitchen was fully stocked with any and everything you could ask for. There were plenty of pots, pans. plates, glasses,silverware, etc. You name it and we had it. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We hated to leave but will definitely be back.

    More than what we expected! Very Relaxing! The house was exquisite, the decor was very refreshing. Wished I had reserved the house for 7 days. The only issue was with the Marina, they were not friendly and nice to our party, they need some hospitality training. All the units should come with a golf cart that seats eight people at least. Overall we can’t wait to reserve a house again with My Vacation Haven! The staff is Awesome!

    This rental had the perfect location and was immaculate on the inside upon arrival. Only thing to be aware if traveling with children is that the front door does not lock from the inside, so managing a curious two year old trying to escape is a hassle.

    This home was perfect for myself, my husband, our 2 adult children and my mother while we were in Florida for a family wedding. The beds were large and comfortable, and the golf cart was a an excellent mode of transportation around this lovely resort. We had our coffee in the morning while watching the turtles swim in the lake that was right in our backyard.

    Arrival was easy. No hassle with checking in just go straight to your rental and enter the code that was emailed to you. Rental was clean and easy to keep that way with the brooms, mop and vacuum readily available. Kitchen was well stocked with the tools needed for any type of cooking and plenty of dinnerware. Beds are comfy and bathrooms are sizable. The one and only problem were the bugs in the bathroom on the main level. Maintenance was called and they came and sprayed. The golf cart made mobility easy to the grocery, beach and dinner. Pool was nice could be bigger for that size community. Checkout was easy as check in just leave.

    We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again. The house was well appointed and clean. The wifi worked well and the golf cart was a plus. Make sure to plug the cart into a Non-GFI plug otherwise it will not fully charge without tripping the GFI.

    We booked this property for a last minute spring getaway. MyVacationHaven was great, as always, at finding us the perfect location. The house was neatly decorated. We did find some trash under one of the end tables but that is certainly NOT a deal breaker.

    Excellent vacation staying at Villa Lago....

    A few issues with the TV (no instructions to operate), WIFI (incorrect log-in info), A/C on the fritz, Masterbath Shower (standing water).... but in truth, all handled very, very quickly. Matt and Dave from My Vacation Haven came out very quickly when we called the office and resolved the issues with great professionalism and speed. They were just great to work with!

    The house overall is beautiful, and we would definitely stay here again.... would advise that this is truthfully not a place for families with small children (our daughter is 7 so that was fine), as the furniture is newer and it it is not a home that is "child proof". The house is fully-equipped with everything you need, so only need to bring disposables like tin foil, saran wrap, baggies, etc. We brought all from home and it it worked out great. The Publix Grocery Store is right down the road. We didn't use the Weber gas grill outside, but looked in good condition.

    There is a standard coffee pot and not a Keurig machine - just want to make sure that you know that as we were told otherwise. Not a big deal....

    One thing to caution you on... the community pool at Villa Lago is NOT HEATED. it was freezing and therefore, not useable. We were really disappointed, but we were advised of that going in.... so I knew ahead.

    The golf cart was awesome to have as a second vehicle to get around and it was a lot of fun driving it....very easy to operate. Villa Lago is at the back of the property, but near everything.... you will find it much easier using it than waiting for the Sandestin tram.

    Thanks again to the great team at My Vacation Haven.... We will be back!
