It has been said there are moments in life we live for … a week of sun, fun, and good friends. So why not make those times more memorable by securing a beachfront rental on the extraordinary Gulf of Mexico? Wave Catcher is located on desirable 30A, within the Dune Allen area, part of Santa Rosa Beach. It’s known for its idyllic surroundings and uncrowded beaches.

This house provides an extraordinary bird’s eye view from east to west of truly remarkable sunrises and sunsets. The designer of this home on stilts took full advantage of the view by installing floor-to-ceiling windows in the common area. In addition, an oversized window in the full-sized kitchen provides a breathtaking view of the rolling surf. There have been recent updates made to this home including new paint, new decking, and new furniture in the bedrooms and living area.

As you enter the main area, just inside the French doors, there is adequate seating for 12 to dine. The deck also offers plentiful seating for everyone to secure their favorite spot in the sun or to enjoy stargazing in the evening.

All four bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and smart TVs. The front-facing bedrooms have amazing Gulf views, while the back bedrooms overlook Oyster Lake, a very rare dune pond natural habitat. And, knowing how beach towels and bathing suits mount up, a separate laundry room with an ample cabinet, makes this chore a little more tolerable.

This venue comfortably sleeps ten.

Nestled on Scenic Highway 30a is the charming community Dune Allen Beach. A longstanding local spot for eclectic shops, eateries and homes, this part of 30A is often sought after for a laid back beach lifestyle. Its restaurants and stores are locally owned and at the heart of the community’s vibe. The 30A bike path will offer a safe, dedicated option to check it all out! Within a short loop you can grab coffee at nearby Gulf Place or stop by the bakery by heading back east to Blue Mountain Beach. Enjoy days on the beach and biking through Blue Lupine, the area’s native blue flowering plant. When you’re ready for more adventure, seek out the numerous biking and hiking trails that twist and turn through the surrounding Point Washington State Forest. Amenities such as golf, tennis, biking, boating, water sports & more are available locally at additional costs.

    This is the second time we have stayed at this house. The proximity and setting could not be more perfect!! The expansive view is unbeatable! We had a bbq grill last year and it was no longer there. The lounge chairs on the deck are pretty uncomfortable but I know that anything with a cushion wouldn’t hold up. Overall, super pleased with this rental!

    Wave Catcher was a perfect beach rental! Great location right on the Gulf. We had four families there with plenty of room. Everything was very clean and functional. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes to prepare meals. The proximity to the beach was great, making setup super easy. It was a great week overall! We would definitely book this place again!

    We loved everything about the house on the beach. We stayed 7 days. The house is located kinda close to the public beach access. We had problem with people from public beach access trying to set their umbrellas and chairs right in front of our chairs. ( between us and the beach). We had to ask people to move on down the beach on a daily basis. Some of them were nice about not setting up in front of our chairs but some had attitudes. I’ve rented different houses on different areas of the beach for several years and this has never been a problem. Not sure if it’s just Santa Rosa area but I will definitely look at proximity of public beach access for my next stay.

    Outstanding property everything is advertised it was really great to have the starter packs of dishwashing liquid etc saved from having to go to the store right away since we arrived late at night. A shout out to vacation haven.com who handled our rental flawlessly. Everyone I spoke to on the phone provided great customer service and Pam even stop by to check and be sure or stay was going well. Thanks again to the owner and to vacation Haven for making everything just perfect for myself my family and my grandchildren ! We will be back.

    This house was amazing for a week stay at the beach with friends and family. All of the beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed in one place. The location is perfect with easy access to restaurants and activities. Most of all the view was unbeatable from the balcony. 10/10

    Wave Catcher was absolutely amazing! The house had everything in it we needed - the BBQ grill could have been updated. The only thing we were disappointed in was the TV situation of having to stream - no regular stations but all in all this was the perfect house. We will be back next year!

    This home was the perfect size for our family. Everyone had their own bathroom and the open concept was great for family visiting times. The house was very clean and the location close to restaurants and shopping not to mention the beach was right off the house. I would definately stay there again and would recommend this home to my friends.

    Great location. Close to everything but far enough for some privacy. Loved being able to walk right out to the beach from the house. We were there during busy season but had little traffic on the beach in the area. House was clean and very well stocked in all aspects. Only negative comment is I would have liked more comfortable patio furniture. Otherwise everything was great.
