    The condo was very clean. Great views! The only problem I had was they have no pot holders so we had to use wash clothes to remove our pans from the oven.

    This unit is located in the Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort in the Westwinds condo. This was our second stay at the Westwinds and we highly recommend. This was our first stay in this unit and we were not disappointed. It is located on the 10th floor. The view of the ocean is very nice. It was impeccably clean and very tastefully decorated. We found everything to be in good working order. The kitchen is well stocked with all the basic things you would need to prepare meals. There are no spices or cooking oils, so bring what you need in that department. We were given a travel sized dish soap, laundry pack and dishwasher detergent, along with a sponge and one roll of paper towels. It was plenty for what my husband and I needed. The bathroom has a large sink area and a very large shower. We were provided with 2 rolls of toilet paper and travel sized shampoo, conditioner, lotion, aloe vera gel, and linen spray. There were plenty of hangars in the closet to hang clothes. There is one small piece of furniture in the bedroom where you can put clothes and the drawers in the bathroom also have plenty of space for clothes as well. There was an ironing board and iron, which we did not use. The king sized bed was wonderful. We found it to be very comfortable. There were 4 beach chairs and 2 small beach umbrellas that were all in working order. We were very grateful as we always fly and are unable to bring our own. The beach area in front of the Westwinds is private so it is not terribly crowded in comparison to some others. We had no issues finding space and enjoyed all the people around us. The pool area is quite large and there are many available loungers. We will most definitely stay in this unit again if available.

    Rental was very nice. Everything was clean and bed slept good. Shower had okay pressure. We have really enjoyed all rentals at Westwinds. My only complaint would be the televisions. Seems like every year we are trying to figure out how to work the televisions and we never did figure out the tv in the Master. Not a huge deal but we wanted to watch the 2024 Olympics and finally had to just sign into my YouTube TV account to enjoy. Overall, great experience.

    Fabulous condo. Very clean. Tasteful furniture and decorations. Large bathroom with double sink and plenty of counter space. A travel size shampoo, conditioner, lotion, aloe gel, and linen spray was included. There was a blow dryer. The kitchen is stocked with basic dishware and cooking necessities. There was a basic keurig and coffee pot. There are no spices, oils, or sprays. Travel sizes of dish soap, dishwasher pods, and laundry pods along with a sponge were provided. We did use the washer and dryer. No problems with them. There were 4 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas, along with a few sand toys. We always fly so the chairs and umbrellas were appreciative. The view is very pretty from this 10th floor unit. The Westwinds building is wonderful. It is our second time staying in this complex. We will most definitely stay in this particular unit again as well.

    Excellent 1BR condo! We have visited SanDestin several times but this was the first time staying in Westwinds. Very clean and up-to-date property with gorgeous views of the beach/gulf! It was easy to make reservations with My Vacation Haven ! Looking forward to booking this same property again in the future!

    We enjoyed our stay at Westwinds 4789. The condo is located on the 10th floor, as you get off the elevator, there is a private hallway that leads you to a comfortable, clean, one bedroom condo with all the amenities you would need. The condo was available at the designated check in time provided to us. I was pleased that My Vacation Haven staff contacted us shortly after our arrival to see if everything was okay and asked us if we needed anything. They also called us a second time during our stay and again asked if we needed anything. What great customer service! The condo has two balconies, one that faces the beach where you can sit and enjoy the beauty of the clear, clean, emerald green and blue waters of the gulf and resort pool. The other balcony overlooks area properties. The Westwinds condo is in a great location and is directly on the beach. It is located within the beautiful manicured and gated grounds of Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. We liked the secure feeling of having an attendant at the entry gate where they provided a parking pass upon entry. Parking is super easy at Westwinds with two levels available, one level is covered, the other is not. Both have easy building access with luggage carts available at each entry. Prior to arrival we received important condo and building access information, so be sure to read all the information they provide . We found many things to do in the area. We enjoyed swimming at the pool and going to the beach, the sand is super soft. The condo had a couple of beach chairs and an umbrella for use and a few beach toys. Within a mile or so of the condo, there is shopping, restaurants, and a nice grocery store. While traffic can get busy off the property, it is an easy drive to Scenic 30a where you can venture out and see all the great and different architecture and styles of 30a beach towns or head towards Destin where you can sit and watch the boats (and people) at a restaurant or bar that overlooks the harbor, or if you want there is a tram that picks you up from Westwinds that goes across Hwy 98 over to Baytowne Wharf which has shops, restaurants, and activities for the kids to do. While this condo does not have a golf cart, many do and we saw people using their golf carts to go over to Baytowne Wharf (it has a path for the golf carts which goes under the road (Hwy 98) so you don't have to cross busy traffic). There are walking paths through out the large resort property, but to go any further, you will need a car. This was our first time in this area and there are a lot of rental places to choose from. We chose Westwinds because of its location, resort style pool, condition of the property and of course the direct beach access!

    This was our second year in a row to Westwinds. Both years were the week of July 4th and it was busy as expected, but the white beaches and clear water make us feel like we are in another country. Having a family with 2 little ones security is something that is very important and we feel secure staying here. We will be back!

    Great views, place was clean and very nice. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but was fine. Loved the balconies, kitchen, and comfortable living area. The beach chairs were great too! Westwinds has a great pool and hot tub and is very close to the beach.

    From start to finish, the whole process was smooth sailing from making our first reservation, communication with management, questions about the vacation home and with our arrival for the week. Great location, great view, two balconies to view different angles of Sandestin, and a great way to escape for some R & R. The only thing I would recommend is to bring some dish soap, toliet paper, condiments, laundry soap and beach towels. We will definitely come back to this location.

    This was our first time renting a one bedroom one bathroom unit in the Westwinds complex and we were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful view and the large balcony with this unit. The unit is comfortable, nicely appointed and we immediately felt right at home! The bed was very comfortable as well, which can sometimes be hard to find in a rental. We would definitely return to this rental unit and highly recommend it!

    My Vacation Haven folks were great as usual. This unit is very nicely decorated and beautiful view of sunset. Only negative to this unit is that it does not have a golf cart.

    The property was very well maintained and clean. The view from the balcony is amazing. We really enjoyed staying at the Westwinds and will definitely be back again. The condo had everything we needed and more. The mattress wasn’t super comfortable but it was fine for the few days we were there. We had a great stay and I would recommend this property to others.

    Everything was easy from initial rental throughout our stay. The condo was just as the photos showed, beautifully decorated and appointed, so comfortable. The view of the beach, the gulf and the incredible sunsets was sensational. Loved the pool area and the softest sand you can imagine on the beach. Terrific restuarants and shops in the area. Did we enjoy our stay? YES we did and will return!

    This rental is clean and spacious! The condo is quiet and the balconies have great views of the ocean. Everyone that we interacted with at the pool was very friendly. The access codes were slightly confusing, at first, but we figured them out after a few attempts. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would love to go back!

    Access the the unit was seamless. We had all the codes and information prior and just walked right in upon arrival. The unit was immaculate. As clean and well maintained as any hotel room. Everything clean and new with updated decor. The view faces the front and west for awesome sunset views. The condo itself is conveniently located between Destin and 30a. 2 miles to the outlet mall and 3-4 miles to great restaurants on 30a.

    The views from this condo are amazing. One of the best things about this condo is the fact that it is in its own hallway off the elevator. There were no doors slamming, noise in the hallway, etc. Westwinds at Sandestin is our favorite place on earth. The only issue we had with this rental is the lack of trash bags (only one kitchen trash bag), towels (4 towels), dishwasher detergent (one tablet) and washer detergent (one wash). If you want your condo kept clean, you need to provide a bit more cleaning supplies.

    This unit was perfect for me and my daughter. The space was very clean, well maintained and designed with tasteful decor. Beautiful views from the 10th floor too! The heated pool was a bonus as we traveled in January.

    This was our second stay in this unit. It is the perfect size for a couple. We love that it is an end unit with two balconies. It is always very clean. The location is great with nice restaurants nearby. We were able to leave a day earlier to start our vacation, so I called to add another day which they did with no problem!

    Perfect little getaway for a couple! My boyfriend and I stayed there for 5 days and we were so sad to leave! Everything about the condo was perfect, especially the ocean view, easy access to the beach and the rooms were all kept up/clean! We definitely will be back the only thing we were disappointed in was the tiki bar being advertised on the site but was only open one day out of the five that we were there. The one day it was opened it wasn’t for long bc by the time we came back from the beach to get a drink during the day it was closed lol other than that absolutely gorgeous place to stay.

    Perfect place for our family of three! We loved the views from the two balconies. Awesome property with tram rides to the bay side and Baytowne Wharf. We drove to Seaside and explored. Had a lot of fun at Fat Daddy's Arcade and The Track. The chair in the condo had some dried food or something and some stains but we used an extra blanket from the closet as a cover which worked perfect.

    This condo not only gives you great views of the ocean, but also down the beach and back towards the bayside. You have two balconies offering multiple views. The entry way gives you plenty of room to leave beach and pool toys that the kids have. The kitchen offers all that you need to cook just about anything. Living room was spacious for a family of of 4 with comfortable fold out couch for the kids. The master bath is huge with plenty of room as well as master bedroom.

    Our condo was amazing. We loved every minute of it. It was pristine. The bathroom was huge. It was very beautifully decorated. The location right on the beach was perfect. The washer and dryer were quiet. Thank you for providing the beach chairs and umbrella. Everything was awesome about this condo. We hope to come back next year.

    I also wanted to add that the My Vacation Haven app was really helpful. Usually I print out all the information on paper and put it in a binder. This year everything was on the app, no printing necessary, very convenient. Thanks for offering that service.

    My husband and I had a lovely week in Westwinds 4789! This condo is nicely decorated and it provides amazing views of the Gulf. We have rented through My Vacation Haven a number of times in the past 10 or 12 years and have always been pleased. The location is perfect with restaurants and shopping a short drive away. A new, more comfortable couch would be my only suggestion for a change. The decor in the condo is lovely. The location provided us the opportunity to spend some time between Destin and Panama City. Westwinds is our favorite vacation location! The white sand and beautiful ocean in this area of Florida is amazing! The pools and landscaping at Westwinds are beautiful!
