    One of our favorite beaches and places to stay in all of FL. It does really need some handicap bars in the bathrooms and maybe some towel bars for wet towels. has fastest internet I have ever used. Views are unrivaled. Pool is perfect temp. sunset views are unparalleled. Quiet. Safe. Would be nice to have some of the newer electric outlets with the built in USB plug in options for A, B, C options. Clean. nice appliances.

    Awesome experience with unbelievable views! Very responsive and helpful. We are Sandestin regulars and had a great time. Only feedback I would have is to have the carpets cleaned because they needed it

    Really nice condo with beautiful views of the emerald green gulf waters - not only from the balcony but each bedroom and the living room! The property is so well kept! Always enjoy the Baytowne Wharf (sax player at the Village Door is incredible!), Grimaldi's Pizza by Publix is great, can't miss the Donut Hole and Dewey Destin's Harborside Restaurant has great seafood and service. The only issue at San Destin is the restrictions on where you sit on the beach. The property isn't wide enough for the amount of guests and the beach umbrellas were 3 and 4 rows deep. Unfortunately, you can't sit in the beach area to the east where only a few people are sitting from the adjacent property. It would be great if San Destin could improve on this issue.

    A great place to stay in Sandestin. The location is perfect with great wraparound views of the gulf. The unit was well furnished and very clean. We had an issue with the dishwasher which wasn't resolved during our stay but that was more of an inconvenience than a problem. We would stay there agian.

    Our experience was very good. The balcony and layout of the condo is fantastic. We had some minor maintenance issues with some lights going out and water sensor alarms. We did get ahold of My Vacation Haven and they did get back with us and got issues fixed very quickly! The condo does need some new carpeting in once of the bedrooms but for most part is in good condition.

    This was our beach vacation with our two children, their spouses and four grandchildren. This is our third trip here using the same unit and My Vacation Haven. We are obviously pleased with the beach view and other amenities.

    We had the best vacation staying here over Easter weekend. This was our 7th time here and we won’t go anywhere else! This was our first time staying in this particular condo, and it did not disappoint one bit! The view from the balcony is just incredible. Every room had an ocean view. The condo was very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this one!

    Nice place. Good view. Nice and roomy. Clean. Nice pool and beach. Only negative: no one wears masks in common areas and by the elevators. Would go back after the virus.

    Our first stay in the Westwinds property. This unit was very clean and comfortable. The furniture was in excellent shape. The property is very well maintained and easy to navigate. Our only small criticism would be there were only 2 chairs for the balcony and they were not comfortable. Otherwise, nothing but good things to say about this unit.

    The 3 bedroom 3 bath condo was very clean and roomy. Kitchen and bathrooms were very nice. The balcony was huge! Just need more chairs on the balcony. The resort was gorgeous with a huge pool.
    The property’s location was excellent. Tons of restaurants and shops. A Publix and Walmart close by. Upscale shopping and outlet mall shopping really close.

    We are nearing the end of our 3 1/2 month stay in Westwinds 4794 and it has been wonderful. The unit is spacious and right on the beach, offering fantastic views of the Gulf. And with all that Sandestin has to offer (beach, pool, golf, tennis, pickle ball, restaurants, shopping, and more), you really don’t have to leave the Resort. We are already making our plans to return next winter.

    This was not our 1st time staying in a condo at Westwinds, so we knew what to expect. The rental company, Vacation Haven, was very good. We received several prior notices /reminders of the trip. Prior to the date of the trip, we received all the necessary information relative to checking-in, etc and necessary codes. We had no problems with scheduling the rental, checking-in, parking, condo access, and checking-out. The pictures online were an accurate description of the property. The condo was clean and well-maintained. The view is great. Westwinds is right off HWY 98 and is only a few feet from the beach. The shopping outlet is about a mile or so from Westwinds and Baytowne Wharf is in front of Westwinds on the otherside of HWY 98. Good restaurants can be found up and down HWY 98. There is a Publix, CVS, Chick Filet, Starbucks, .. within 1 to 2 miles of the condo. I would recommend this condo to friends. We did not used the tram for transportation, but saw it often so it appeared to run fairly frequently. Hope this helps you to make your decision.

    Condo and property were great. Only problem in condo was the ax unit. When you had the air conditioner turned out on the front two bedrooms and the kitchen area were freezing cold while the rest of the condo was hot Clearly a problem with the ductwork

    We really enjoyed our vacation condo by My Vacation Haven. The pool was very nice, and a good change from the beach. The access to the beach was great. We really liked that the boardwalk from Westwind to the beach was wagon-friendly where we did not have to carry the wagon down a flight of stairs. The beach water in the fall was so nice and warm. We did use the beach umbrellas provided by My Vacation Haven, they were no good. There were 2 of them and both were broken. Other than that, everything else was great. They provided linen, beach toys, beach chairs, garbage bags, soaps, dishwasher soaps, etc.

    SAN DESTIN VACATION

    I had never used Vacation Haven before, but had seen them many times before on VRBO. I had only rented in the past directly from San Destin, as we like to use all of the amenities. However, this vacation, we decided to "chance it" and use Vacation Haven due to the large savings in rent offered, as well as the ability to see the rental unit we were getting. We had our entire family come, so we rented a three bedroom and a two bedroom, both in Westwinds, from Vacation Haven. They were both very nice units and were very easy to access. We never had any problems while vacationing. The extra amenities we could of received were not significant, as the tiny extras we paid for golfing, were much smaller than the additional rent San Destin charged. We were also able to negotiate chairs and umbrellas at the beach for the same price as the owners, although you could get away without needing them, as chairs and umbrellas were provided in each unit. I would give my vacation experience an A+!

    This unit was outstanding! Everything was perfect including the beautiful views, cleanliness and of unit and up to date kitchen, bathrooms etc. Master beds were extremely comfortable. We had seven in our group and unit was spacious and comfortable. It was wonderful to be so close to the ocean and it seemed to us that Westwinds was much less congested than the area down by the Hilton. We loved this vacation!!!!
