Flipper’s Retreat is a quaint, two story beach cottage located in the Serenity at Dune Allen community. From the moment you walk through the door of this luxury home, you are immediately immersed in a calming atmosphere. Coastal blues and neutrals are found throughout the home and the first floor living area is there to provide comfort after a long day. The kitchen bar and dining area are large enough to seat a crowd, so have all the group gather in the morning for brunch. The kitchen is fit for a chef, as it features bright white cabinetry and stainless steel appliances..

The first floor master bedroom is bright and airy with large windows. There is a king bed and the adjoining master bathroom is complete with a double vanity and large walk in shower. The laundry area and a half bath round out the remaining first floor area.

The second floor boasts another master bedroom with a king bed and an en suite bath, featuring a double vanity and walk in shower. There is also a cozy bonus area that includes a sofa sleeper. The remaining guest bedrooms feature a queen bed and two twin beds as well as a guest bath with a tub/shower combo.

The back patio area is paved and includes ample seating options as well as a BBQ grill. Sit outdoors awhile and relax or head over to the large community pool just across the street. There is also a golf cart included with the property, so take a short ride to the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico and let all your worries be washed away!

I was skeptical about not being directly on the beach; however, this was a great and convenient town. The unit offered a 3-row golf cart, perfect for our size family. The management company, My Vacation Haven, was excellent! Great communication throughout the process and easy to get in touch with and along with. Called on day after arrival to check our needs.

The home was a big size and well appointed. Bed rooms were a generous size, baths were very nice, and had the nicest toiletry welcome kit for baths and kitchen. There was a storage area equipped with beach supplies for your use.

I have taken many beach vacations and stayed at some pricy units with big management companies that would remove my reviews! I will return to My Vacation Haven’s properties and experience their kindness and quality!!!

This was our first trip to 30A and it won’t be our last! This house was so easy to get to and conveniently located between Mirimar and the busy 30A. The neighborhood is clean, quiet, and absolutely beautiful. We were nervous about beach access but the golf cart ride was easy and the beach access is directly across the street from the entrance to the neighborhood. The house is beautifully decorated, very clean, and spacious. There were the cutest little welcome boxes in each room with toiletries and things you may have forgotten that was a nice touch. We didn’t need to contact management but they checked on us a few times, ready to help if we needed them. I can’t brag on this place more! It made for the perfect trip for our family.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Flipper's retreat. Very close to the beach and the golf cart was fun. Only my wife and I and our two dogs, so we mostly stayed on first floor. Also loved Stinkys which was very close. Enjoyed catching the sunset almost every night. There is a Nice area to walk the dogs across the street along the road. Would go back without the dogs next time - they aren't allowed on the beach which was a bummer. We did find plenty to do and the place was great.

The property was just as described. Beautifully decorated, but most importantly it was CLEAN! Loved having the convenience of the golf cart. The neighborhood was lovely!

What a gem! My family has stayed at various rentals up and down 30A, but this home stood apart!

Pro's: golf cart (absolute must for the location), community pool, beaches (the best around), sizable home for family of 5, great management company, quiet end of the strip.

Con's: nearby construction (no fault of the owner/management company), distance to shopping/dinning.

I would give 5 stars across the board, but where I had 4 stars:

Location: mixed bag, quiet end of the strip but still far from shopping/dining. A golf cart is an absolute must - we saw folks walking to the beach with small children sending shivers up our spine.

Cleanliness: the home was immaculate, however, the renters before us clearly had a dog that shed. The cleaning crew needed to do a better job cleaning up dog hair.

Overall, we highly recommend this home and plan to rent it in the future.

This house is spacious for what we needed for a family of 4. Upon arrival we noticed the living room area was a bit stuffy. The ac unit in the living room doesn’t stay on. So if the door to the master bedroom stays closed the Living room becomes stuffy. We did contact management company and said they would send someone out but not sure if they ever did. Did not have a follow up on the issue. We just dealt with it for our duration of trip. The extra amenities for the kitchen and restrooms are nice. The EV golf cart is a big plus. Location and the proximity to the beach are also a plus. I felt the house especially the floors could have been a bit cleaner. We did find some clothes under one of the beds a previous guest had left. House was good overall.

Beautifully decorated house, very clean and spacious. Golf cart is a must and made it easier getting to the beach and going out and about. There were plenty of bath towels, beach toys in the outside chest, and the extra touches in the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry rooms which included soaps, etc. We would absolutely rent with this company again, and would recommend this property. Such a plus being about to bring our 5# schnoodle with us; she had a blast riding the golf cart as well. Being a pet-friendly property, there was no sign of smell or anything. VERY clean, beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We enjoyed the quiet but close access to the beach and surrounding area. The house is close enough for a quick walk to the beach, but even quicker with the electric golf cart. Description of rooms are accurate; everything was very roomy and comfortable. Dishwasher & laundry appliances are on the low-end. Pool was a great size and very accessible. Stinky's Fish Camp nearby is highly recommended. The beach can get a bit cramped on nice days.

We really liked the layout of this home, as it was well suited to a large family. This is a relatively new build, so the appliances and bathrooms and basically the whole property felt updated and fresh. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach, but the golf cart was a great addition that made it a 1 minute trip to the beach.

Five of my friends and I rented Flipper's Retreat for a girls trip from September 22 - 26. The house was great for our sleeping arrangements, house was like new throughout, and we all loved the decor. The nice golf cart was an added bonus, and we loved using it to go to the beach. When we first arrived, the only problem we had was that the tv had no signal. When I called MVH, the woman answering the phone was extremely nice and helpful. She sent a repairman, and he immediately took care of the problem, and he also left us a nice note. Thanks for the help and a nice, fun trip.
